Evidence comes first
Our editorial process separates established evidence, emerging research and practitioner claims. Source links let readers inspect the basis for a story. Interviews and quotations require an attributable record. Opinion is labeled.
People and credentials
We do not fabricate providers, credentials, reviews, availability or affiliations. A verification badge requires recorded checks, the scope of those checks and a date. Directory inclusion does not establish treatment effectiveness.
Directory sources
The directory combines researched official practice information with active public NPPES registry records. An NPI identifies a registry entry, not an independently checked professional license. Registry specialties and business contact details are displayed as recorded; licenses, services and availability should be confirmed with the practice and relevant licensing authority.
State selection criteria
A state feature considers publicly documented services, program scope, location, useful visitor information and relevance to whole-person health. The editorial team records sources and checks material facts before approval. These features are not scored national rankings. Comparative top-provider selections require a defined eligible group, credential checks, published evaluation criteria and documented review.
Selection and commercial independence
Featured selections require research and editorial approval. “Top” or “best” language requires documented methods. Advertising, sponsorship and paid placement must be distinguished from editorial work.
Corrections and publication
Send corrections through the contact form. Drafts remain private pending review. Publication dates require publisher approval. Authors and biographies are recorded before publication.
